Patty Mechael's The Antidotes: Pollution Solution grabs us by the hand and leads us along with Izi, Gir, and their friends as they make discoveries about who and what caused the devastation and how people can stay safe. This book's plot moved along fairly quickly, which I found enjoyable. The author did an excellent job with exciting twists that drew me into the intrigue and left me reeling after discovering an unexpected turn of events. Patty Mechael uses straightforward wording and distinct characters who were well-rounded and had perfectly balanced emotions…. I liked it when the kids did scientific experiments that tested bacteria and the chemicals that polluted the water. I am delighted to have acquired a new understanding of chemistry, which I intend to apply to my practical projects. Another important component of Mechael's work is the way she incorporates modern technology. These elements significantly boosted the originality, charm, and allure of The Antidotes.
