Author Patty Mechael, a public health specialist, sheds light on the increasingly relevant topic of plastic usage and its role in the destruction of oceanic ecosystems. This is a book that should be introduced to all preteens out there for the future of this planet lies in their hands. Although every member of The Antidotes has a distinct personality and agency in their actions, they all work together for the greater good. A lesson for us all. Highly recommended to kids and their parents.
